Tetera en torno / Teapot on the wheel

Diseño y elaboración de una tetera con la técnica del torno. En este workshop aprenderemos el proceso completo de creación de una tetera funcional realizada en torno, una de las piezas más desafiantes y gratificantes dentro de la cerámica utilitaria. Nivel intermediario (saber centrar min 800g).

Enfocaremos en la fabricación de una pieza y en la técnica en sí. En caso de que estés interesado en decorar tu pieza, puedes tomar una clase aparte durante nuestros horarios de clases semanales (1 hora por 20€). Si no, al final del curso, cada pieza será esmaltada por la profesora con mucho cariño y cuidado en transparente brillante.

Tras su esmalte y cocción en nuestro taller, las piezas se podrán recoger entre unas 4-5 semanas después del curso.

Design and manufacture of a teapot using the wheel throwing technique. In this workshop, we will learn the complete process of creating a functional teapot on the potter’s wheel, one of the most challenging and rewarding pieces in functional ceramics. It is required to know how to center at least 800g.

In case you will be interested to decorate your piece you can take a separate class during our weekly classes schedule (1-hour per 20€). If not in the end of the course each piece will be glazed by the teacher with love and care in transparent glossy color.

After glazing and firing the pieces can be picked up 4-5 weeks after the course.

Level: This workshop requires a basic knowledge of the wheel throwing technique.
